Like all of the Roadcore line the RC720 has been made to be versatile rock machine that will work great on a stage of any size. The 3 piece maple neck is round and not quite as thin as your standard Ibanez neck so you can really dig in to this guitar easily. The mahogany body matches up perfectly to create a tone that is fairly balanced but with a little bit of chunk behind it when you really go at the strings. Topping of the neck and body you have some stunning rosewood that provides just that little bit of sparkle.
Throughout most of the RC range you will find these powerful Core Tone pickups that have been designed specifically to compliment this shape and style of guitar. They are medium output pickups that almost sound like P90s in tonally but with an extra bit of sparkle and punch. They make this the perfect guitar for rocking out on a daily basis. You would be surprised how good they sound when chucked though a higher gain metal amp as well so don't think this guitar is not versatile.
