Here at Music Bros. We have a team of technicians specialising in Guitar & Bass repairs. Between us we cover a vast variety of skills from setups, electronics repairs, fret polishing, neck resets plus many other services.

Although we specialise in Guitars & Bass (Electric & Acoustic) we do also offer re-stringing on Ukuleles, Banjos and Mandolins. If your instrument requires more than a re-string, we advise contacting us before you bring in your instrument. Setups/Servicing

Electric Guitar/Acoustic Guitar Full Service £55 (including new strings)

Electric Guitar Floyd Rose/Edge Zero style Tremolo Full Service £65 (including new strings)

Bass Guitar Full Service £65 (including new strings)

Electronics

Standard Electric Guitar Jack Socket Fitting - £20 (including new Switchcraft Socket) - Please note: some guitar socket may vary in price, £20 is for a standard Mono Socket 

Acoustic Guitar Jack Socket - £30 (including part)

Pickup swap - £25 per pickup

PLEASE NOTE: There is a £15 workbench fee for diagnosing any repairs. The £15 fee is payable for all instruments which have been considered uneconomical or if we are unable to carry out the repair. 

Waiting times

Re-strings are usually a same day service, however this cannot be guaranteed and your guitar may need to be left with us in-store.

Repairs & Servicing

Due to high demand there can be a minimum of 1 week waiting time before your instrument Is looked at. The waiting times can vary so we advise speaking to a member of the team close to the time you are thinking of bringing your instrument in.

Authorised Taylor Service Center

We are proud to announce that Music Bros. Is now a Taylor authorised Service Center!

What does this mean for a Taylor guitar owner?

Taylor guitars have listed service centres dotted around the UK. Every service centre has at least one technician that been trained and approved by Taylor guitars to carry out warranty and non-warranty repairs. You can book your guitar in with our Taylor Technician Rob who will carry out any repairs or servicing in-store without having to send your guitar away. 

The repairs and diagnostics that can be carried out are as follows:

1. Humidity diagnostics and service
2. Taylor neck angle adjustments (NT)
3. Saddle replacement / saddle action adjustment
4. Instrument Tuner replacement
5. Pick Guard replacement
6. Truss rod adjustments
7. Basic nut string height adjustments
8. All electronics services. These services consist of part replacements up to and including full updates of the original system.
9. Intonation
10. Under saddle pickup balancing

Please note: In some circumstances your guitar may need to be returned to Taylor guitars for further work. This will be discussed with you before your instrument is booked in by ourselves.
