Vintage-inspired from headstock to strap pin, the Fender Custom Shop '57 Telecaster Journeyman Relic comes loaded with looks, tone, and feel inspired by the Tele's golden era. This 6-string starts with an incredibly resonant and lightweight slab of 2-piece select ash for the body, paired with a 1-piece quarter-sawn maple neck for plenty of treble-infused snap. 9.5-inch radius and narrow-tall frets supply a slightly more modern-feeling playing experience that's incredibly conducive toward upper-fret bends and smooth, low action. Custom Shop hand-wound '58 Telecaster pickups provide a plethora of rich vintage-style single-coil tones on tap, from rounded-over warmth on the neck to time-tested twang on the bridge.
